Our tour guide Jose was fantastic for our River Nature tour. The ship captain placed the boat perfectly and the other guide was very knowledgeable aswell. They went out of their way to make the trip special.

Great easy river float. It was roughly a 30 min drive in a large van from their office to the drop off point on the river. You were then given life jacket and paddles( you very rarely need to paddle) There were 6 people plus our guide in the raft. Getting in and out of the raft was easy. Just your feet get wet. No mosquitos on the river (what a nice surprise) . Our guide , Warner was kind and funny. He provided us with lots of info about the wildlife and plant life along the river. We saw monkeys, one river otter, caiman, crocodile, boa constrictor , other snakes, turtles, bats, toucans and many other types of birds . We were on the raft for approximately 2 hours. You then get out and are given a snack of cheese on homemade tortillas which was yummy. Following this there is a 10-15 minute talk/ demonstration about cacao plant / chocolate with a taste of dried cacao then melted sweetened chocolate afterward . The return trip back to Fortuna was approx 45 min. I think this tour is great for all ages and I would highly recommend. Thanks again Warner!
