Beth WinspearI had a wonderful kayak tour with Canoa Adventura. They picked me up from my hotel, and took me back after. The kayak tour was brilliant and I saw lots of wildlife (howler monkeys, iguanas, lots of birds, sleeping bats etc). Roy was the best guide, he was extremely knowledgable about the animals, spoke excellent English and was very friendly! After the kayak tour we had some snacks (tortillas, plantain and cheese), coffee and sugar cane tea, and then we learnt about the cacao bean and chocolate making (with samples to taste). I would definitely recommend this activity!

Diana StreitfeldWhat a pleasant surprise! We wanted to experience a real life jungle cruise and this one didn’t disappoint. It was about 2 hours and we saw so many animals including, howler monkeys, bats, white face monkeys, a crocodile, ibis, owl, iguanas, basilisk, just to name a few. It was so great to experience so much wildlife in its natural habitat. It was a beautiful experience. We also weren’t aware that we would be given a snack at the end which was delicious handmade tortillas, cheese, fried plantains and coffee. After the snack we moved into the chocolate presentation, such a treat to be able to see a real cocoa pod and even taste the raw beens and the roasted beens followed by warm chocolate syrup. Out of the tours we booked I think this one was the best one for the price. Wilson was our tour guide and he made sure we didn’t miss anything! This was exact experience we were hoping to get in Costa Rica.
